El Centro de Corazón will partner with the American Cancer Society and the NFL to host A Crucial Catch Day – Screening Saves Lives. The event will be held on October 25, 2016 at 7037 Capitol St. from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The community is invited to attend the event and learn more about ways to reduce their risks and the importance of detecting breast cancer early through regular screenings.

This event is made possible through the American Cancer Society’s Community Health Advocates implementing Nationwide Grants for Empowerment and Equity (CHANGE) Grant Program, funded by the National Football League with support from the Houston Texans. The NFL’s A Crucial Catch initiative provides funding to support increased access to potentially life-saving breast cancer education and screening resources in communities experiencing an unequal burden of cancer.

A Crucial Catch Day community event will provide women with free breast cancer education and access to screening resources. Please join us for a fun day of activities for the kids including a special appearance by the Houston Texans Cheerleaders!
