El Centro is excited to announce it received a generous grant of 5,357 new books from The Molina Foundation. The donated publications, which include health-oriented educational materials, are in English and Spanish and are geared for youths ranging from kindergarteners to high schoolers.

Share a Story is an effort by The Foundation, during the month of April in locales across the country, to highlight the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. El Centro received the shipment of books in June and clinical staff has been distributing them to pediatric patients during their well child exams. El Centro is honored to partner with The Molina Foundation in an effort to reduce disparities in access to education and health.
