Marcie Mir, El Centro’s CEO

Congratulations to El Centro’s CEO, Marcie Mir, on being selected as one of the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work (GCSW) 50 for 50 alumni honorees. In honor of GCSW’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, the alumni nominated embody their vision to achieve social, racial, economic, and political justice. There will be a 50th Anniversary Celebration on August 17th at the University of Houston, Hilton Hotel recognizing 50 GCSW alumni nominated by our community. 

Ms. Mir’s commitment to serving others is evidenced by her years of work in the community and her leadership to meet the needs of the ever-increasing number of low-income, underserved individuals receiving health care services at El Centro de Corazón. To learn more, click here.
