El Centro de Corazón is Growing Resilient Futures

Growing resilient futures through community-centered healthcare

We have served Houston’s East End for over 27 years, providing quality, bilingual health care to children, adults and seniors. We treat everyone who needs care—regardless of their ability to pay, with accessible sliding-scale fees for primary, behavioral, and dental health care, as well as women’s health services. But our commitment to the health of our patients extends beyond our health centers’ doors, because we know health happens in neighborhoods.

Stewarding our patients’ health means check-ups and preventative care, but it also means stepping in when families are food insecure and getting them the resources they need. And it means setting up families for success as they manage chronic health issues like diabetes and childhood obesity at home.

This year has been challenging, but our vision remains focused. We continue our mission of serving our patients inside and outside our health centers, and growing resilient futures for Houston.
